that they didn’t have time, or weren’t interested
in any such thing. I think DCTRA, in a way, can
provide, and has provided such support. At times
it is encouragement, sometimes it is a few hours
of relief - getting away from stress.
We are entering the busy season, from
now until May. Auto activities almost every weekend.
Remember the Wheels of Britain show March
10 at Heritage Square. Two weeks later is the
Highland Games, a chance to show off the British
cars and get a year’s supply of pipes and drums
in one weekend.

A brief business meeting was held after our Jan.
13th brunch. 20 were present.
Votes for 2013 officers were primarily done by
internet, with more completed at the brunch.

George Montgomery was thanked for his fine job
as president. He said he had really enjoyed his
two terms in office, especially writing the Prez
Says column each month.
Bob Mazur had flyers for the Racing Hearts charity
car show to be held February 9th in Tempe,
sponsored by The Centers for Habilitation.
The Breakfast Run happened to be the same day
as our brunch. Jim Bauder managed to attend
both, and said 3 Triumphs were there, driving
through North Scottsdale on a good run sponsored
by the Jaguar group.
Ron Gurnee is looking into license plate frames
for the club, which could be sold and provided to
new members. He plans to bring samples to the
next meeting.
John Horton said that contacts through our sister
club on the Isle of Wight have found a US distributor
of Triumph World, the British magazine

dedicated to our cars. The distributor, in New
Jersey, can be reached at 800-356-8007.
