Blarney Party Challenge goes out on high<br />
note raising $244,940<br />
This year’s Blarney Party Challenge to <strong>be</strong>nefit Children’s Miracle<br />
Network® (CMN)—Ed and Sally Sullivan’s final year—was ano<strong>the</strong>r<br />
huge success. The 17th Annual Blarney Party Challenge<br />
raised $244,940 bringing <strong>the</strong>ir 17 year total to $1.6 million. The<br />
18-hour event, hosted by <strong>the</strong> Sullivans, included phone pledges,<br />
a live auction, stories of inspiration from those who <strong>be</strong>nefit from<br />
CMN and sponsor recognition.<br />
“People in this area have always responded and given generously<br />
to CMN. Ed and Sally have a close-knit circle of friends who<br />
want to help <strong>the</strong>m <strong>be</strong> successful in <strong>the</strong>ir efforts to raise money<br />
for <strong>the</strong> kids in our community,” shares Jean Moe, CMN regional<br />
event specialist.<br />
She went on to say, “CMN fundraising to <strong>be</strong>nefit area children<br />
with special medical needs is an ongoing team effort. Without<br />
our team, <strong>the</strong> Blarney Party Challenge would not have enjoyed<br />
<strong>the</strong> success it has over <strong>the</strong> last 17 years.<br />
CMN would like to acknowledge and thank Ed and Sally Sullivan<br />
for <strong>the</strong>ir many years of hard work, support and compassion.<br />
They have <strong>be</strong>en remarkable friends and <strong>be</strong>nefactors to CMN.<br />

$25,950 for CMN<br />
Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) has <strong>be</strong>en <strong>the</strong> charity of<br />
choice for America’s credit unions since 1986. CMN is officially<br />
endorsed by more than 45 state credit union leagues and by national<br />
credit union trade associations. Through this innovative<br />
program, credit unions have <strong>the</strong> power to make a difference in<br />
<strong>the</strong> lives of children in our area.<br />

an integral part of our communities by helping <strong>the</strong> 17 million<br />
kids treated annually in Children’s Miracle Network hospitals—<br />
