Clearwater Spring’s Bailey is a beautiful white early spring heifer with a spunky disposition.
She exhibits outstanding conformation and loads of brood cow potential. She is out
of an easy keepin’ cow that breeds back early year after year. With her dam, Bailey won
Grand Champion Cow/Calf honors at the 2010 Cornhusker State Classic. Bailey is one
hot mama, bred and due to calve late July/August, to the 2010 NWSS Reserve Grand
Champion Bull, RTH VanNorman. She would be an awesome female to get your herd
started or to add maternal traits and production.
Dez is a heifer that has tremendous body dimension and a disposition that out shines
the sun. While she doesn’t have a typical Highland female horn pattern, she was placed
Division Champion at the 2011 NCHCA show by Scottish judge Angus Mackay for her
great commercial abilities. Her dam has been in my breeding program for several years
and is a great mother cow. Her sire has produced outstanding females. All these attributes
add up to a great prospective brood cow for you.
This heifer, like all the LEA-White entries, comes into the auction ring without any different
rations than the remainder of the herd; she has been with the brood cows receiving
forage only. She is naturally deep, wide and thick with tremendous potential. Her sire
is many time Canadian Grand Champion Sunset Rebel Yell. Through him she is a paternal
half sister to HSC Rebel’s Jack, a Grand Champion many times and strong contender
for the ROE Show Bull of the Year. Her mother is an Elite Impact Dam which
makes Firefly a maternal half sister to both LEA Elke, the NWSS High Selling Female in
2011 and a maternal half sister to LEA Crackerjack, dam of HSC Rebel’s Jack, who was
sold at this very venue in 2009. She is due to calve March/April with a confirmed pregnancy
to LEA Flint; a big, deep and wide home-bred bull with a promising future as a
herd sire. He is structurally correct with a heavy performance background. His dam and
two granddams all qualify as Elite Impact Dams.
