P&I: digital revolution in personnel work<br />

Nearly 650 customers accepted the invitation to the P&I<br />

User Conference 2013 at the Kurhaus convention centre<br />

in Wiesbaden. On September 10 th and 11 th , P&I<br />

exclusively presented P&I LOGA3, its new cloud solution.<br />

One of the most important and renowned companies in<br />

the HR industry in Europe, P&I fascinated its audience<br />

with comprehensive live presentations of the system.<br />

The central focus of the conference was no longer the<br />

individual HR expert, but instead the individual mobile person<br />

acting intuitively. Self-explanatory, mobile, customisable, free<br />

of redundancies and requiring just a few clicks to reach the<br />

right spot: that is how P&I presented P&I LOGA3, its<br />

revolutionary HR product. The next software generation from<br />

Wiesbaden incorporates social computing into personnel work<br />

and is ringing in a new era. P&I LOGA3 integrates all the<br />

employees of an organisation, thus feeding the information<br />

management revolving around each individual in simple<br />

manner. The uniqueness of each individual employee takes on<br />

<strong>more</strong> and <strong>more</strong> clear and concrete form: talents, skills,<br />

personality. The advantage for the HR department is: P&I<br />

LOGA3 makes in-depth, sustainable talent management<br />

the future” – moderator Bernd Manke opened the conference


with those words. Today Manke is “Prokurist” at P&I, i.e. the<br />

holder of a general commercial power of attorney, and has<br />

been employed at the organisation for <strong>more</strong> than 15 years; he<br />

moderated the conference with real passion. In the course of<br />

the conference, P&I fascinated its audience with detailed<br />

system presentations revolving around P&I LOGA3. P&I<br />

LOGA3 is the revolutionary access to the foundation of P&I<br />

BIG DATA - the accumulated and structured knowledge of the<br />

P&I community. Thus, P&I has succeeded in transporting the<br />

principle of sharing to personnel work as a pioneer in the HR<br />

industry. More than 45 years of expert know-how and<br />

experience derived from over 15,000 customer installations<br />

feed the huge information volume of P&I BIG DATA. In next to<br />

no time, an analysis conducted by the system leads to the<br />

ideal customer set-up, which is immediately made available as<br />

a run-capable system.<br />

In his keynote address, Vasilios Triadis, the CEO of P&I <strong>AG</strong>,<br />

reflected on P&I’s strategy and explained why P&I LOGA3 in<br />

combination with P&I BIG DATA will constitute the most<br />

important building blocks for the future: “As members of the<br />

P&I HR Community, customers have constant access to P&I<br />

BIG DATA, which is constantly growing. So they benefit from<br />

innumerable pre-configured personnel events, remuneration<br />

rules, interfaces, statistics, documents and formats of<br />

upstream systems in accordance with the sharing principle.” In<br />

a historic retrospective, the CEO illuminated the changes in<br />

the company and the rise of digitalisation. “P&I has always<br />

stood for development, liaison & support and research. Our<br />

fundamental understanding consists of innovation and quality.<br />

P&I fulfils the role of designer and driver. Now it is ringing in<br />

the digital era in the HR sector,” added the CEO.


In accompanying, highly entertaining lectures, Professor<br />

Markus Hengstschläger, Chairman of the Institute for Medical<br />

Genetics at the Medical University of Vienna, spoke about the<br />

trap of the average. The genetics professor captivated the<br />

audience with his humorous delivery and - just like guest<br />

speaker Ernst Bromeis, an extreme swimmer and water officer<br />

from Switzerland - he underscored how important it is to be an<br />

individualist and swim against the stream. “Mediocrity does not<br />

engender innovative capacity.” The P&I User Conference<br />

2013 concluded with that message and a trail-blazing HR<br />

product.<br />
