5.2.13 Do not trap slings when loads are set down as this may damage slings.<br />
5.2.14 Do not pull slings from under loads when loads are resting on the slings.<br />

5.2.16 <strong>Co</strong>nsider the effects of temperature, chemicals and other environmental<br />
factors when choosing slings and deciding on the manner in which they<br />

5.2.17 Guide suspended loads manually, where possible, this should be done by<br />
means of a “tag line” so that the person guiding the load is not likely to be<br />
struck by it.<br />
