from the Alumni Relations Manager
Time has flown by since our last issue in November 2012
and once again there is a lot to tell you about what’s happening
in the IAESTE world. One of the benefits of being an
international organisation with 84 member countries is that
we’re never short of great stories to share with you.
I am particularly pleased that in this issue we have interviews
with some of our older alumni. The world has changed a great deal
since IAESTE was founded, but its purpose and values remain the same and it’ s nice to see
this reflected in the words of our alumni.
In addition to the stories from our alumni, it’s also been a busy period for IAESTE in terms
of events. The 66th Annual Conference and the 2nd Annual Alumni Conference both took
place in Belfast, Northern Ireland in January and we have reports from both. You can also
find just a few of the many great photos that were taken during the events, but there are
many more to be found on the Alumni Network.
2013 is actually the 65th Anniversary of IAESTE and we will be celebrating throughout
the year, so keep any eye on the Alumni Network and our social media platforms to see
what’s happening and how you can join in.
