Sir JAMES KNorr, <strong>an</strong>d is situated in a growing suburb oI Newcastle.<br />
The Specification oI the Org<strong>an</strong> was drawn up in consulation with<br />
MR. REco.lAr"D Gos6,CusrARD, F.R.C.O. (Org<strong>an</strong>ist <strong>of</strong> the Alex<strong>an</strong>dra Palace<br />
<strong>an</strong>d <strong>St</strong>. Michaefs Churc\ Chester Squarg London).<br />
The Great, Swell <strong>an</strong>d Choir deprtments with Console are situated in <strong>an</strong><br />
overhead gallery on the north side <strong>of</strong> Ch<strong>an</strong>cel. The Celestial Org<strong>an</strong> (with<br />
Celestial Bass) is placed in <strong>an</strong> elwated position to the south <strong>of</strong> Ch<strong>an</strong>cel. The<br />
main orgtn is hidden behing a carved olrnwork wooden screerl without <strong>an</strong>y<br />
display <strong>of</strong> front pipes, <strong>an</strong>d the Celestial Org<strong>an</strong> is provided qrir:lr <strong>an</strong> org<strong>an</strong> case <strong>of</strong><br />
similar design by MR. E. E. LoFrINc, Architect <strong>of</strong> the Church.<br />
The Church was consecrated <strong>an</strong>d the org<strong>an</strong> aken into use on the<br />
6th June 1931.<br />
