The C4 is a high performance race shoe offered at a price level of a high end fitness skate. The
features of the boot can be found in high end racing shoes as well. The boot is a hot tip in the szene
because of the great price-value ratio.
The last of the C4 is absolutely identical with the C2, C6 (195mm) from Powerslide or the Triple X
from Core Racing. The shell construction is the same and all models use the SHMR Technology.
New in 2008 is the shell construction. The bottom of the shell is reinforced through the X-Torsion
Bar like the Triple X racing shoe. The difference between the two models is the way of
manufacturing. The Triple X is made by (expensive) moulds wether the C4 is made by regular
vacuum system. In the end you can see a much nicer finish (sharp edges) of the bottom structur on
the Triple X shoe vs. the C4 shoe which has rather soft edges.
The price difference between the models mentioned above is based on different materials that are
used for uppers, padding etc. or in the different designs / patterns of the shoes. The more simple a
design the shorter and easier is the manufacturing process at certain steps (e.g. stitching).
The C4 race shoe comes with a comfortable neoprene / Lorino liner.
Attention! We recommend to combine this boot with a frame featuring the so called ALONG
mounting slot. You can still use frames with regular hoizontal mounting slots, but the possibilities
to adjust the boot – frame – set up will be limited in this case.
