The Directors of <strong>the</strong> Company own directly and indirectly 54,063 (2009: 26,801) ordinary shares of <strong>the</strong> Company as 31 March <strong>2010</strong>.<br />

The revenue from related parties reported is measured in a manner consistent with that in <strong>the</strong> profit and loss account.<br />

30 . ULTIMATE HOLDING COMPANY<br />

<strong>SABMiller</strong> Africa BV (incorporated in <strong>the</strong> Ne<strong>the</strong>rlands) owns 52.83% of <strong>the</strong> company’s issued shares. The ultimate holding company is <strong>SABMiller</strong> plc, incorporated in<br />

<strong>the</strong> United Kingdom.<br />

31. APPROVAL OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS<br />

The financial statements were authorised for issue by <strong>the</strong> Board of Directors on <strong>the</strong> date shown on page 9. They are subject to approval by <strong>the</strong> members in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Annual</strong><br />

General Meeting.<br />

32. EVENTS AFTER THE REPORTING PERIOD<br />

On 21st May <strong>2010</strong> <strong>the</strong> Fair Competition Commission (FCC) issued a decision upholding a complaint against <strong>the</strong> Company and imposed a fine of 5% of <strong>the</strong> Company’s<br />

annual turnover. The Company lodged a notice of appeal against this ruling on 27th May <strong>2010</strong>. Execution of <strong>the</strong> FCC’s decision including payment of <strong>the</strong> fine is stayed<br />

pending determination of <strong>the</strong> appeal by <strong>the</strong> Fair Competition Tribunal.<br />
