Lisa Ruiz-Gonzales, MS, ATC,<br />

AT/L is Phoenix College’s<br />

Head Athletic Trainer and an<br />

Assistant Athletic Director.<br />

This is her fifth year as Head Athletic Trainer for<br />

Phoenix College. She received her B.S. in Exercise<br />

Science from Arizona State University and her<br />

M.S. in Sports Health Care from Arizona School of<br />

Health Sciences. She has been a part of the Phoenix<br />

College family and athletic training staff since 1999,<br />

initially starting as an athletic training student while<br />

attending ASU and continuing through as a graduate<br />

assistant while completing her master’s degree at<br />

ASHS. Lisa is a certified member of the National<br />

Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), Rocky Mountain<br />

Athletic Trainers Association, Arizona Community<br />

Colleges Athletic Trainers Association (ACCATA), and<br />

is currently licensed by the Arizona Board of Athletic<br />

Trainers. Lisa and her husband Emmett currently<br />

reside in Phoenix, Arizona.<br />

April Perotti, MS, ATC/L, is<br />

Phoenix College’s Assistant<br />

Athletic Trainer. This is her<br />

first year as an Assistant<br />

Athletic Trainer for Phoenix<br />

College. April has spent the previous 2 years as<br />

a graduate assistant here at PC while completing<br />

her master’s degree at ASHS. She received her B.S.<br />

in Athletic Training from Northeastern University<br />

in 2005 and an M.S. in Sports Health Care from<br />

Arizona School of Health Sciences in 2007. April is<br />

originally from Massachusetts.<br />
