ICELOCK Winter can provide your feet with plenty of slippery situations and that’s where IceLock® comes to the rescue. Micro-glass filaments are electrostatically aligned within the structure of our rubber sole compounds. These small filaments do a big job. They create a WIDE surface tension that stops your feet from slipping on anything from hard-packed snow on a trail to black ice in a grocery store parking lot. IceClaw ZYLEX / ZYLEXTRA Our proprietary removable liner design consists of three layers to provide warmth and to keep your feet dry. Closest to your feet is polypropylene, which wicks perspiration away from your feet. The second layer is made from dense felt that traps body heat in its natural air pockets. The outer layer is made from space-age thermal foil that deflects cold air on the outside and reflects body heat back to your feet on the inside. ICE COMFORT TEMPERATURE RATING A copper foot equipped with thermal sensors is placed inside a boot. That boot is then placed inside a climatic chamber and subjected to a range of cold temperatures.
