UNIMA-USA<br />
The <strong>Center</strong> serves as headquarters of uNimA-uSA, the American branch of the international puppetry<br />
organization union internationale de la marionnette, the oldest theater organization in the world.<br />
<strong>Center</strong> <strong>for</strong> <strong>Puppetry</strong> <strong>Arts</strong> is a non-profi t, 501(c)(3) organization and is supported in part by contributions from corporations,<br />
foundations, government agencies, and individuals. major funding is provided by the Fulton County board of Commissioners under<br />
the guidance of the Fulton County <strong>Arts</strong> Council. This program is supported in part by the Georgia Council <strong>for</strong> the <strong>Arts</strong> (GCA)<br />

Tips For A Great Visit:<br />
Planning Your Visit<br />
• Advance purchase is HIGHLY recommended as many shows sell out early. Every person<br />
over the age of two attending the show must have a ticket.<br />
• Please notify the Ticket Sales Offi ce in advance if any special accommodations are required.<br />
• Contact the Ticket Sales Offi ce at least 72 hours in advance to redeem vouchers/rainchecks.<br />
• Arrive at the <strong>Center</strong> at least 30 minutes early to allow time <strong>for</strong> parking, check-in, lastminute<br />
bathroom breaks, and seating.<br />
• We provide limited free parking and are mARTA accessible via the <strong>Arts</strong> <strong>Center</strong> Station.<br />
Per<strong>for</strong>mance<br />
• During the per<strong>for</strong>mance, laughter is welcome, but no eating, drinking, or talking.<br />
• Attending live theater is a great opportunity to teach children proper etiquette!<br />
• The use of electronic devices, such as cameras and mobile phones, including<br />
texting, is strictly prohibited during the per<strong>for</strong>mance.<br />

Xperimental <strong>Puppetry</strong> Theater (XPT) is a program that offers professional and emerging<br />
artists the opportunity to explore and experiment, creating original puppet theater<br />
geared to adult audiences. Applications are accepted <strong>for</strong> Project Directors with their<br />
own shows, or individual members available to participate in different pieces as a<br />
per<strong>for</strong>mer, musician, puppet builder, etc. Proposed pieces must be under ten minutes<br />
and can feature a myriad of puppetry styles. We also accept applications <strong>for</strong> short<br />
puppet fi lms and puppetry-themed art installations. Funding, rehearsal space, and<br />
limited production assistance are provided, as available.<br />

The <strong>Center</strong> offers Home Educators $10.50 All-Inclusive tickets to homeschools (regular price<br />
$16.50) on select dates. Includes Per<strong>for</strong>mance, Create-A-Puppet Workshop, and Museum admission!<br />

Title 1 Schools<br />
The <strong>Center</strong> offers a special rate to Title 1 Schools <strong>for</strong> select per<strong>for</strong>mances. Family per<strong>for</strong>mance only<br />
tickets are $5.25 each; Adult and Teen weekday tickets are $8 each. To receive this rate, principals<br />
must provide a letter on school letterhead that verifies Title 1 certification. Orders not accompanied<br />
by this letter will be returned <strong>for</strong> complete payment. For more in<strong>for</strong>mation and a current list of<br />
