Advent is the season in the
church year when Christians
prepare for the coming of the
Christ child. Please hang this
calendar in a prominent place in
your home and use it to prepare
your heart and mind for Advent.

Amen.
Every day:
1) Light the Advent
candle.
To make your own Advent wreath,
gather the following supplies: four
candles of one color (traditionally
blue or purple), one candle for Jesus
(traditionally white) and find an
evergreen wreath if you would like
to tie it all together. Or, if you prefer
not to use real candles, break out
the construction paper and crayons.
Either way, create a sacred space
in your home where you can reflect
on and prepare for the coming of
Christ.
