and Oakley Training Schools; and
Southern Poverty Law Center and MS
Center for Justice entered appearance
as counsel in 1977 Judgment in
Morgan v. Sproat.
• 2005 Settlement Agreement
• In 2004, Southern Poverty Law Center
and MS Center for Justice sued for
access to counsel at Columbia
Training School.
• In 2007, Mississippi Protection and
Advocacy Systems and Southern
Poverty Law Center filed suit about
conditions at Columbia Training
School.
• 2005 Settlement Agreement
• 2008 Columbia Closed
