SPORTY NEVER LOOKED SHARPER.

Contemporary and dynamic, the Ibiza SC is 

sport couture inspired by the runway and the 

motorway. In designing the Ibiza SC, we wanted 

something that was sleek and slim-fitting, but 

also extra large on features and detail. What 

we ended up with is a car that could please 

fashion gurus and performance lovers equally. 

And this year, it comes in three eye-catching 

custom colours: Tribu, Boal and Speed Blue. 

Stand in front of the Ibiza SC and you’ll see its 

distinctive shape is formed from lines that start 

from the chromed front grille and then sweep 

along the sides, past the 17-inch alloy wheels, all 

the way to the rear lights. This is one car that’s all 

dressed up with places to go. But don’t take our 

word for it, try one on for size – especially the Ibiza 

SC, FR or Cupra. It’s all you need to look the part 

this season.

PERFORMANCE YOU CAN FEEL. 

As custom-made sportswear, the Ibiza SC 

is equipped with features that help you feel 

every inch of the road. Even though you may 

feel relaxed in the driver’s seat, rest assured, 

the SC won’t let anything get between you and 

the thrill of the drive. XDS (Electronic Differen-

tial Lock System) is an advanced traction 

control system that’s linked to our Electronic 

Stability Programme (ESP)*, and it gives you 

more control when you brake in corners. If a 

wheel starts slipping, XDS stops it from doing 

so by providing each wheel with just the right 

amount of pressure to maximise traction and 

improve response throughout the curve. So 

you stay on the road in the most dynamic way. 

And power-assisted steering lends an extra 

hand when you need it. Steering is heavily 

assisted at low speed and lightly assisted at 

high speed, so you can keep a firmer grip on 

the road – and add a whole new level of cool to 

parallel parking. And the newest generation 

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction 

Control System (TCS) let you stay fully in 

control.

AN INTERIOR THAT FITS YOU 

LIKE A GLOVE.

Every stitch in a finely tailored suit serves 

a purpose. Likewise, you’ll find that every 

detail in the Ibiza SC has its place. The 

multi-functional and stylish dashboard of the 

SE trims and above are supplied with a board 

computer that that lets you know 

average speed, fuel consumption, and time 

spent on the road. Air conditioning or climate 

control let you stay cool while you strut your 

stuff. Also at your control is a collapsible and 

height-adjustable steering column. An optional 

Storage Pack provides a place for all your odds 

and ends, whether in a box under the front 

seats or in a neat and tidy boot net. Then 

there’s the upholstery: fully adjustable front 

seats with logos finely stitched into them on 

the FR, Cupra, and Cupra Bocanegra trims. 

You’ll feel as unique as you do comfortable.

Bi-xenon headlights with AFS follow the direction of the steering wheel, 

providing illumination where you need it most. 

Front fog lights with cornering function can train themselves in the direction the car is 

turning. 

FASHION FORWARD FEATURES. 

Being truly fashionable requires a unique 

sense of style. You’ll notice this in features 

like smart looking front headlights with 

Coming Home Function, a feature that keeps 

the headlights on for a few moments after 

you turn the car off – fumbling for house keys 

at night is a faux pas, after all. You also have 

the option of upgrading to bi-xenon 

headlights with Adaptive Front-lighting 

System (AFS), which follow the direction of 

the steering wheel, giving you a wider field of 

vision. If you want to add a soundtrack to your

Performance is always in fashion, and so is 

being green. So our newest range of engines is 

cleaner and more fuel efficient than ever before, 

particularly on the petrol side. This, thanks to 

advanced new features like a Start/Stop System 

that turns the engine on and off automatically 

so it’s only used when needed. It’s technology 

like this that helps us find a balance between 

clean and mean, and it’s how, for example, 

the 1.2 TSI can pump out 105PS while 

keeping emissions to a low 119 g/km. On the 

diesel side, this balance is maintained with 

models like a 2.0 TDI CR 143PS with 123 g/km 

of emissions, and 1.2 TDI CR 75PS with 

102 g/km. What does CR stand for? 

Common Rail engineering. It makes the Ibiza SC 

quieter while also reducing fuel consumption

equipped the Ibiza SC with the most 

advanced safety features. In fact, the Ibiza 

range has already earned a prestigious 5 Star 

Euro NCAP. That’s no small feat. The list of 

safety features includes front head and chest 

airbags for driver and passenger, tyre pressure 

warning indicator, and Hill Hold Control – a 

handy feature that delays the brake for two 

seconds so you can take off on hills like a pro. 

And because preventing an accident is the best 

safety feature of all, the SC comes equipped 

with the newest generation Electronic 

Stability Programme (ESP) and Traction Control 

System (TCS). These systems monitor 

information from the steering wheel, tyres, brakes 

and accelerator, making adjustments when 

necessary, letting you stay in the perfect arc. 

And keep your cool.

Cutting emissions and fuel consumption is 

vitally important to us, which is why we’ve 

equipped the Ibiza 1.2 TSI 105PS manual 

and 1.2 TDI CR Ecomotive 75PS cars 

with the latest Ecomotive Technology. 

The first, a Start/Stop System, works by 

automatically stopping and starting the

When the car is stopped, the gear lever set to neutral and clutch pedal is released, the Start/Stop System 

switches the engine off. Once the clutch is engaged again the engine starts automatically. 

An Energy Recovery System works on the power absorbed by the alternator, to recover energy combining high 

and low cycles of absorbed power, depending on the driving needs, then feeds it back into the electrical system 

during acceleration. 

This system helps you reduce the fuel consumption level, and consequently the CO 2 emission levels when driving.

Another technology making a difference 

is an Energy Recovery System. During 

braking and coasting phases, this system 

controls the alternator to recover energy,

consumption to 80.7 mpg for the 1.2 TDI

The SEAT Warranty 

Three-year Warranty. All new SEATs registered 

in the UK come with a three year/60,000 miles 

warranty, which protects your car against 

the failure of most mechanical and electrical 

components due to manufacturing defects. This 

comprises a two-year manufacturer’s warranty 

with unlimited mileage plus a further oneyear/60,000 

(whichever is soonest) Dealer 

Warranty. Should the mileage exceed 

60,000 miles within the first two years, the 

manufacturer’s two-year warranty will still be 

valid. If an additional warranty for subsequent 

years or higher mileage is desired, it may be 

purchased from an authorised SEAT dealer or 

repairer, however, this additional warranty must 

be purchased before the mileage reaches 60,000. 

Cover is subject to the car being serviced and 

maintained according to the manufacturer’s 

technical guidelines. Full details of the three-year 

warranty are available from your SEAT dealer or 

repairer. 

Three-year Paint Warranty. The paintwork of 

the Ibiza SC is covered against manufacturing 

defects for a period of three years. Naturally, the 

Ibiza SC must be cared for in compliance with the 

operating instructions which will be found in your 

vehicle handbook. Please consult your authorised 

SEAT dealer or repairer for full warranty details. 

Twelve-year Body Protection Warranty. The 

internal body sections and panels of the Ibiza 

SC are covered against rusting through from the 

inside for a period of twelve years. Naturally, the 

Ibiza SC must be cared for in compliance with the 

operating instructions which will be found in your 

vehicle handbook. Please consult your authorised 

SEAT dealer or repairer for full warranty details. 

SEAT Parts Warranty. SEAT parts and accessories 

supplied after new vehicle delivery are covered by 

our 24 months parts warranty.

Vehicle Excise Duty and CO 2 Emissions. All 

vehicles first registered on or after 1st March 

2001 are subject to a form of Vehicle Excise 

Duty (Road Fund Licence) based on the type 

of fuel the vehicle uses and its carbon dioxide 

(CO 2 ) emission level, measured in grammes per 

kilometre (g/km). 

Optional Equipment. Throughout this publication, 

wherever a feature is described as being an 

‘Option’ or ‘Optional Fitment/Pack’ etc, you 

should assume that it will be at extra cost to 

the base vehicle, unless specifically stated to
