Cut-off value<br />
- Defining optimal cut-off value is important in the accuracy of the test<br />
- 50 – 75% improvement of symptoms<br />
Dosage<br />
- As strong as possible to acid-secretion inhibitory effect<br />
- Two (or four) times therapeutic dosage<br />
Duration<br />
- Steady-state inhibition of acid secretion<br />
- Frequent GERD symptom : 7 days<br />
- less frequent atypical symptom : 14 days<br />
