Ford Custom Accessories wheels and tires are<br />
designed as a system and must be used as such.<br />
Larger-sized systems may require a new spare tire<br />
and additional components. Also, tire chains cannot<br />
be used due to lack of clearance to the wheelhouse.<br />
Trucks equipped with accessory wheel-and-tire<br />
systems are not compatible for use with snowplow<br />
equipment. For approved tire-and-wheel systems<br />

USING DIFFERENT-SIzED WHEELS OR TIRES<br />
Adding wheels or tires that are a different size than<br />
your original equipment wheels and tires may affect<br />
the performance and/or electronic systems of your<br />
vehicle – including its braking, ride-and-handling<br />
characteristics, stability, resistance to rollover, fuel<br />
economy and tire traction (on wet, dry, snowy or<br />
icy roads). Changes in vehicle performance are not<br />
covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty.<br />
REPLACING TIRES<br />
Ford Motor Company strongly recommends that<br />
your replacement tires be the same as your vehicle’s<br />
original equipment tires to ensure proper levels of<br />
performance and safety during normal use. Ford,<br />
Lincoln and Mercury vehicles were developed and<br />
matched with specific tires and wheels. If you<br />
choose different replacement tires, make sure they<br />
are the same size, load range, speed rating and<br />
construction type (radial- and bias-belted tires) as<br />
your vehicle’s original equipment tires.<br />
WARNING<br />
Your vehicle may not provide an acceptable level<br />
of performance and safety if you use tires not<br />
recommended for your Ford Custom Accessories<br />
wheels. You may increase the chance you will<br />
crash and suffer serious injury. Only use specified<br />
tires, and install the additional component-kit<br />
upgrade required on certain Ford, Lincoln and<br />
Mercury vehicles.<br />
