of 20 on the ACT or 1000 combined score<br />

on the SAT.<br />

Eligibility: Must be a full-time college<br />

student who has completed 30 semester<br />

hours at Bishop State Community College<br />

with at least a 3.5 GPA.<br />

Athletic Scholarship<br />

Eligibility: Must participate in baseball,<br />

men’s or women’s basketball, or<br />

softball.<br />

Award: Tuition and fees for 30 hours<br />

during the academic year; books provided<br />

on a loan basis.<br />

Institutional Scholarship<br />

Eligibility: Must be in band or choir and<br />

submit to interview, audition or evaluation.<br />

Award: Tuition and fees for up to 12 hours<br />

during spring and fall semesters only;<br />

approval of the activity sponsor is required<br />

Presidential Scholarship<br />

Eligibility: Must have at least a 3.5 GPA<br />

for initial award and be a student at a public<br />

high school in Mobile or Washington<br />

County.<br />

Award: Tuition and fees for up to 24<br />

semester hours during academic year;<br />

renewable with completion of 24 semester<br />

hours with at least a 3.0 GPA.<br />

Eligibility: Must be a high school student<br />

with at least a 2.5 GPA who will pursue<br />

a degree or certificate in any of the<br />

Technical School divisions on the Carver<br />
