King’s Grove School is a lively, happy and successful school. Pupils tell us that they
enjoy coming to our school and that they feel safe. We insist that our pupils aim to
achieve their true potential, and that they work hard to challenge themselves and
encourage others. We place an emphasis on a rich, varied and purposeful working
culture around the whole school.
I hope that you enjoy reading the prospectus and that it begins to give you a flavour
of life at King’s Grove. However, there is nothing like coming to see our school in
action in order to experience the breadth of what we offer. You are welcome to visit
our school at any time.

Transition Arrangements
As soon as your child is allocated their place at King’s Grove, we contact them with a
welcome letter and a programme of visits. They will spend several days with us over
the two terms prior to starting in September. In this time they will become familiar with
the school day, some of the site, their prospective Form Tutor and Tutor group. In this
way, they will break for the summer holiday happy, confident, and looking forward
to September.
