Exciting things are happening…..<br />
Hello everyone!<br />
I can imagine that you are all enjoying<br />
the stellar weather we are having. I<br />
know I sure am!<br />
Warmer weather always signals the<br />
time for our Afternoon in Bavaria.<br />
Please note that our new ticket chairwoman,<br />
Renee Edelhauser, is the person<br />
you need to contact for tickets.<br />
This event is reserved seating only, so<br />
don’t miss out. Give Renee a call today<br />
if you haven’t already made your<br />
reservation. A flyer with the information<br />
is inside! We are always in<br />
need of raffle prizes and homemade<br />
goodies to sell at our sweets table too.<br />
The most exciting thing coming up for<br />
our club, is that our very own Kevin<br />
Walker and Andrea Edelhauser are going<br />
to be heading to Germany to compete<br />
in the Bayerischer Loewe. We are<br />
most proud of having the two of them<br />
compete and that they are representing<br />
<strong>GTEV</strong> <strong>Edelweiss</strong>. A number of our<br />
members will be traveling with them,<br />
so no doubt we’ll hear lots of tales<br />
when they get back. I’m eager to have<br />
them give me a story for the next<br />
newsletter. Best of luck Kevin and<br />
Andrea!<br />
**Special note** Since many of our members<br />
will be in Germany, the dance practice<br />
scheduled for May 20th has been cancelled.<br />
Those who attended the dinner at Jovan’s<br />
once again had a very nice time.<br />
We were serenaded by the sweet<br />
sounds of our musicians and lots of<br />
chatter and laughter could be heard the<br />
entire evening. A special thanks to<br />
Annette Edelhauser for organizing it!<br />
