Dear <strong>Angus</strong> Friends and Customers,<br />
Welcome to our “<strong>77th</strong> <strong>Anniversary</strong>” <strong>Angus</strong> Production Sale!<br />
Challenging is perhaps the best way to describe the last two<br />
years. Tough economic times coupled with environmental<br />
issues has made those of us in production agriculture strive to<br />
stay a step ahead of the game. Truly, every decision we make<br />
affects our bottom line. Without a doubt the only constant is change.<br />

Our aggressive use of embryo transfer has enabled us to build our cow numbers the past<br />
couple of years. Yet, in order for us to continue to effectively manage our operation, we’ve<br />
decided to offer virtually all of the 2003 model cows. These females have<br />
been treasured for their production but with daughters retained we are<br />
able to share them with you.<br />
Never before have we dug so deep into our cow herd as we have in<br />
this year’s sale offering. But, we did so in order to offer something for<br />
everyone. From the spring show heifer and brood cow prospects to the<br />
fall and spring calving cows and proven donors, you’ll find a cross<br />
section of the best in <strong>Angus</strong> genetics. With our ET program and our<br />
commitment to 100% AI, we selectively seek out the best sires in the<br />
breed.<br />
This sale’s offering highlights the progeny of Limestone Darkhorse<br />
U322, a young herd sire we are very excited about. His progeny promise calving ease,<br />
performance and eye appeal all in one package! We’re pleased with the consistency of<br />
Darkhorse’s progeny and are anxious for your evaluation.<br />
