Every once in a while a technology comes along that riases the bar of product performance. In 2013 Soundstream<br />
has done just that, changing your perception of subwoofer performance. We proudly re-introduce the legendary<br />
Reference R1, a unique woofer wth a twist on conventional design.<br />

The new R1 boast 30% larger cone surface area than most conventional 12” subwoofers, improving overall<br />
SPL. A concealed inverted surround receives the larger diameter concave primary cone. Acoustic canceling<br />
tuned channels formed in the underside of a PVC gasket virturaly eliminate undesireable cone-radiated upper<br />
octave frequencies. Each channel is specifically tuned to acoustically cancel various frequency bandwidths,<br />
yielding clean & un-colored sound reproduction.<br />
