Properties of violet glass
Violet glass is based on the principle that the molecular structure of a substance
is being permanently vitalised and energised. This occurs through the
permeability in the areas of UV-A (vitalising) and infrared (energising). Above all,
UV light is considered to be an eradicator of bacteria.
Violet glass easily allows invisible ultraviolet, visible violet (approx. 380 – 420
nanometres – approx. 35%), and invisible infrared light (approx. 730 – 1050 Nm
45%) to pass through, but not, however, normal visible light frequencies (blue,
green, yellow and red) from sunlight – those are filtered out.
The Influence of Sunlight
On the one hand, sunlight consists of the visible spectrum (the colours of the
rainbow), and on the other, invisible ultraviolet and infrared. Sunlight is
necessary for the growth of plants. Once a plant matures and is continually
exposed to the sun, the process of disintegration begins. The same light, which
first allowed it to grow, now accelerates the process of molecular decomposition
and reduces its bio-energy.
