1. Staff induction, training, supervision and appraisal.
It is recommended that all polices and procedures pertaining to safeguarding
vulnerable adults are reviewed in accordance with Trust timescales.
It is recommended that the ward’s induction procedures are reviewed and that
guidance on the safeguarding of vulnerable adults and child protection is
included.
It is recommended that all staff undertake mandatory training in the areas of
safeguarding vulnerable adults, infection control, handling patients property and
finances and child protection.
The policy pertaining to
safeguarding Vulnerable adults
has been reviewed and is
awaiting approval before
reissue
The induction booklet has been
revised and includes guidance
on the safeguarding of
vulnerable adults and child
protection. This is awaiting final
approval before reissue
Safeguarding vulnerable adults
training is up to date. All but 3
staff have undertaken Child
protection training, these 3 will
complete training as soon as a
course is made available.
