Japan are examples of pozzolanic materials which<br />

derive their lime-reactivity characteristic mainly<br />

from the unaltered aluminosilicate glass.<br />

• Volcanic tuffs: Pozzolans of Segni-Latium (Italy),<br />

<strong>and</strong> trass of Rheinl<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> Bavaria (Germany),<br />

represent typical volcanic tuffs.<br />
