MEMBERSHIP: MEMBERSHIP MIXER

For sponsoring our ABC Member Mixer event
at Juban’s Restaurant on June 25, 2013. The
final numbers are in and we had 210 members
in attendance. Juban’s was filled with ABC members,
many new members and prospective members. Members
seemed to enjoy the wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres and
also the availability of a cash bar – I can tell you the bar
was always busy. Social networking was a key focus at this
event and members and prospects considered it a grand
success having ample opportunity to meet and mingle! As
most of you know, I have and will continue to encourage
member companies to attend this event. My personal goal
is to get over 300 in attendance, so I am asking all of you to
please have individuals from your company attend the next
Member Mixer event. I received several positive comments
from members who attended that they made many business
contacts. They always ask me – When is the next one? Momentum
is growing so don’t miss out on the next networking
opportunity for your company.
Buquet & LeBlanc, a well known and established general
commercial contractor since 1945, and a recent new ABC
Pelican Chapter member, graciously agreed to sponsor the
Member Mixer! Special thanks to Rob Liles and his management
team for making this event successful. Featured door
prizes given away were focused on a summer / beach theme
as seen by some of the photos.

for quality, integrity and dependability. Their cornerstone

people make quality employees. Using a multi-faceted team
approach, the company’s team work to create a jobsite environment
conducive to achieving the goals of the project
