On Sunday 7 December 2008 fourteen chapter members<br />
accepted an invitation to attend “Pearl Harbor Remembrance<br />
Day.” Chapter Commander Thomas Falato, chapter members,<br />
and NJ KWVA State Commander George Bruzgis gave honor to<br />
our WWII brothers.<br />
A large crowd of veterans from all wars gathered in 25º weather<br />
with high winds, about 100 feet from the WWII submarine<br />
USS Ling (SS-297).<br />
We also participated at a <strong>Veterans</strong> Day celebration at Passaic<br />
County Technical Istitute High School.<br />
Members particpated in the nation’s largest <strong>Veterans</strong> Day<br />
parade in New York City on 11 November 2008.<br />
