OIL awarded ‘’Best Customer Focus stall’’ at Petrotech Exhibition
It is a matter of great pride to share the information that the Stall put up by OIL at the recently held Petrotech Exhibition 2010
at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi was adjudged as the “Best Customer Focus” Stall. This year the exhibition had over 350 pavilion
and stalls out of which over 200 were from foreign countries.
It may be noted that this was the fi rst time that OIL’s Stall has bagged the “Best Stall” tag under this prestigious award category
which reflects the overall response of the visitors to the exhibition to the concept, display, show-stoppers, thematic presentations,
relevance to the central Petrotech Theme - Global Energy Equilibrium.
This year, OIL had focused on the following unique ideas:
1. OIL’s catch-phrase was “Oil India Unlimited”
2. A special OIL art gallery comprising of oil painting of OIL’s old and new photograph highlighting land mark events
3. A laser show depicting the OIL story was presented – a fi rst time in Petrotech Exhibition
4. A special virtual reality gaming zone was created and visitors could experience the latest virtual reality play station – this
was an added attraction
5. A quiz station on touch screen was made available, where questions on hydrocarbon sector tested the knowledge of the
visitors
6. OIL’s fi lms were screened on giant LED screen as well as plasma TVs
7. This year the technical brochures were presented in a DVD with a cover jacket so as to save paper!
8. With focus on nature and reduction of carbon footprint, the colour schemes and content of the display materials was designed
accordingly
9. In Petrotech 2010, OIL’s emphasis was on Environment, Evolution and Economy

OIL awarded Greentech Environmental Excellence Gold Award-2010
OIL INDIA LTD. has been awarded Greentech Environmental
Excellence Gold Award-2010 by Greentech Foundation, New
Delhi, in recognition of its environmental initiatives. The
award was given by Shri Rakesh Shrivastava, IAS, Joint
Secretary, Ministry of Shipping, Govt. of India. Shri N K
Agarwal, Resident Chief Executive, OIL along with Shri P S
Narayanan, CE(S&E - F/S) and Shri B N Sahoo, Dy. CE(S&E)
received the award on 12 th Dec. 2010 at a glittering function
at Hyderabad which was attended by a number of dignitaries
from India and abroad.
