THERMAL TRANSFER PRINTING<br />

<strong>PPI</strong> L-133 is based on a white printable polyester film. It is<br />

printable using a wide range of thermal transfer<br />

ribbons. It is temperature resistant up to 155 o C (311 o F)<br />

and will withstand exposure to a wide range of<br />

aqueous and organic based solutions. Applications<br />

include barcode labelling in the automotive and metal<br />

processing industries. It is also used in the labelling of<br />

electronic components.<br />

THERMAL TRANSFER PRINTING<br />

<strong>PPI</strong> L-139A is based on polyimide film coated with a<br />

printable top coat. Printable with a wide variety of<br />

thermal transfer ribbons, <strong>PPI</strong> L-139A is also heat resistant<br />

up to 300 o C (572 o F), short term and can be<br />

immersed in molten solder without adverse effect. It is<br />

resistant to aqueous based cleaning fluid and fluxes.<br />

Applications include PCB labelling and the labelling of<br />

metal parts and panels during processing.<br />

THERMAL TRANSFER PRINTING<br />

Combining excellent high temperature resistance with<br />

exceptional resistance to a wide range of solvents,<br />

RD-514 is recommended for all labelstock applications in<br />

extreme or harsh environments. It is unaffected by<br />

exposure to many organic solvents (e.g. motor fuels,<br />

organic cleaning solvents and wash solutions). With the<br />

recommended printer conditions and ribbons it can be<br />

easily printed using thermal transfer printing techniques.<br />

Suitable for similar applications to <strong>PPI</strong> L-139A, but<br />

recommended for those with more aggressive<br />

processing conditions (e.g PCB bottom side labelling).<br />
