Head Coach Amanda
Burbridge-Liebermann
begins her 4th season as
head coach and brings a
highly decorated coaching
and playing career to Phoenix College. In Amanda’s
first year at the helm of the Phoenix College
Volleyball program, she led the team to a 19-11
record with a second place finish in the Region.
Prior to her position at Phoenix College, Amanda
was the Head Coach at Desert Mountain High
School in Scottsdale, Arizona. In her three years
at Desert Mountain, Amanda went 87-43 while
leading the program to Back to Back State Titles in
2005 and 2006.
2011 Coaching Staff
As an outside hitter for Arizona State University,
Amanda started all four years earning various
honors and setting three school records. Following
her stellar playing career at ASU, she went on to
play professionally for Ponce, Puerto Rico. Amanda
not only excelled on the court, but in the classroom
as well, graduating Cum Laude in 3.5 year from
Arizona State University with a Bachelors Degree in
Sociology. She later returned to college to attain a
Masters in Secondary Education.
In 2010 Amanda became a member of the Arizona
State Athletics Hall of Fame.
Amanda’s coaching

• East Valley Tribune Coach of the Year in 2006
• Six Year Head Coach with Arizona Volleyball
