Dec. 14 Panel Program to<br />

Address Media Coverage<br />

The Public Interest Section will present<br />

a free panel program, “Accessing<br />

the Media: How to Get Your Message<br />

Out,” on Tuesday, Dec. 14 at noon at<br />

the <strong>Association</strong>’s headquarters, 1101<br />

Market St., in the 11th floor Conference<br />

Center. The program is co-sponsored<br />

by the <strong>Association</strong>’s <strong>Bar</strong>-News<br />

Media Committee.<br />

Trains on Display<br />

at Reading Terminal<br />

The Reading Terminal Holiday<br />

Railroad has been unveiled in the<br />

lobby of Reading Terminal Headhouse<br />

at <strong>12</strong>th and Market Streets.<br />

The huge new railroad display features<br />

five train lines running through<br />

miniature scenes, including a baseball<br />

diamond, circus, mountain ski village<br />

and more. The tracks are more than<br />

400 feet in length and are mounted on<br />

a waist-high platform that measures<br />

18 by 25 feet.<br />

The display is free and will be<br />

open until Jan. 8 from 10 a.m. to 7<br />

p.m. daily.<br />

Panelists will include Harriet Lessy,<br />

principal of BuzzCommunications LLC<br />

and former <strong>Philadelphia</strong> Daily News<br />

reporter; Susan Greenbaum, producer<br />

for WHYY 91 FM’s “Radio Times”;<br />

Yvonne Dennis, city desk editor at the<br />

<strong>Philadelphia</strong> Daily News; Jill Chernekoff,<br />

CEO of Chernekoff Communications<br />

and former Fox “Ten O’Clock News”<br />

anchor; and Julie Stoiber of The<br />

<strong>Philadelphia</strong> Inquirer city desk.<br />

The Public Interest Section is chaired<br />

by Karen L. Detamore. The <strong>Bar</strong>-News<br />

Media Committee is chaired by Arline<br />

Jolles Lotman.<br />

Though the program is designed for<br />

law-related public interest agencies and<br />

similar nonprofit groups, all members<br />

of the <strong>Association</strong> are invited to attend.<br />

The event is free. Lunch will be provided<br />

for those who have made a<br />
