Hwa Chong is the premier Junior College in Singapore for exceptional students. I<br />

was the Head <strong>of</strong> the gifted programme for students talented in science, a programme<br />

which I initiated, planned and implemented from scratch. I was in charge <strong>of</strong> a team <strong>of</strong><br />

teachers who put in place a new curricula for such students. I oversaw the curricula<br />

planning, programme evaluation and teacher appraisal aspects <strong>of</strong> the programme.<br />

students at the Ministry <strong>of</strong> Education’s Science Research Programme, the Taiwan<br />
