Minutes:
Dr. Holden requested that the Board approve non-recurring dollars for PCC's
Clear Springs Advanced Global Technology Center which will be the
permanent home of PCC's Corporate College. She requested County
assistance in the amount of $5 million to build an access road to this site.
Doug Conner, Clear Springs, discussed the access road noting that it is
currently a dirt road and will connect with Gaskin Road.
Director of Growth Management Tom Deardorff stated the proposed access
road should be designed to County Collector Road standards in anticipation of
connection to a future road.
Motions:
Direct the County Manager to look at the
Community Investment Program (CIP) budget and
come back to the Board with suggestions to fund
this request.
