Classification of malocclusion<br />
In order to acquire a better understanding of the<br />
many deviations from normal occlusion and to assist<br />
in diagnosis and treatment planning, it becomes<br />
necessary to group the varieties of malocclusion into<br />
order.<br />
Many methods of classifying malocclusion have been<br />
introduced:<br />
(1) Angle s classification<br />
(A) Dewey's modifications<br />
(B) Lischer s modifications<br />
(2) Bennett‘s classification<br />
(3) Simon‘s classification<br />
(4) Ackerman and Proffit classification
