HISPANIC HERITAGE AWARD<br />
<strong>Queens</strong> <strong>District</strong> <strong>Attorney</strong> Richard A. Brown congratulates Assistant<br />
<strong>District</strong> <strong>Attorney</strong> Donna Aldea, Counsel for Special Litigation in the<br />
<strong>District</strong> <strong>Attorney</strong>’s Legal Affairs Division, on receiving the Thomas E.<br />
Dewey Medal Award from the New York City Bar Association. The award<br />
is presented each year to an outstanding prosecutor in each of the City’s<br />
five <strong>District</strong> <strong>Attorney</strong>’s Offices, in recognition of their excellent work as<br />
prosecutors, and contributions to public service.<br />
<strong>Queens</strong> <strong>County</strong> <strong>District</strong> <strong>Attorney</strong> Richard A. Brown presents New York<br />
State Court of Claims Judge Joseph A. Zayas with the <strong>District</strong> <strong>Attorney</strong>’s<br />
2012 Hispanic Heritage Award for his long and distinguished career as a<br />
jurist and for his many accomplishments and contributions to the Hispanic<br />
community of New York.<br />
D.A. BROWN HONORED WITH COAST GUARD PATRIOT AWARD<br />
TROOP NYC MEMORIAL CEREMONY<br />
The U.S. Coast Guard presented <strong>Queens</strong> <strong>District</strong> <strong>Attorney</strong> Richard A.<br />
Brown with its Employer Support of Guard and Reserve Patriot Award<br />
on March 6, 2012, in recognition of his outstanding support of QDA<br />
Detective and Coast Guard Reservist John J. Keeley. In addition, the<br />
Federal Law Enforcement Officers Association honored D.A. Brown for<br />
his continued support of their Association and U.S. Coast Guard Reserve<br />
Military Criminal Investigators.<br />
<strong>2013</strong> <strong>Legislative</strong> <strong>Breakfast</strong><br />
<strong>Queens</strong> <strong>District</strong> <strong>Attorney</strong> Richard A. Brown joined Major John J.<br />
McCabe, Troop Commander, New York State Police Troop NYC, at its<br />
2nd Annual Memorial Ceremony. The event honors those Troopers in<br />
Troop NYC who gave their lives to protect and serve the public and the<br />
State of New York.<br />
