Geotechnical - ANZ 2012

All delegates who are registered to attend the dinner will receive a named sticker at registration.
You MUST place your sticker on a table located on poster boards at the entrance to the Exhibition
Hall. You must allocate yourself to a table no later than 11.00am on Tuesday 17 July.
Information for Presenters and Session Chairs
All Speakers will be asked to report to the Speaker Preparation Room to load their presentations onto
the conference laptop. This must be done AT LEAST four hours before you are due to present – this
may mean the day before your presentation. An audio visual technician will be available throughout
the conference.
Speakers are asked to introduce themselves to their session Chair during the break – at least ten
minutes before the session, if possible, to familiarise themselves with the room and equipment and
check that presentations are working.
The Speaker Preparation Room is located in room M14. Please see the staff at the Registration Desk
for further assistance or directions.
Oral Presentations
Oral presentations are allocated 15 minutes which includes 3 minutes for questions and answers to
be held at the conclusion of each presentation.
Poster Presentations & Happy Hour
Posters will be displayed in the Plenary Hall Foyer for the duration of the conference. There will be
a poster session on Monday 16 July from 5.30pm – 6.30pm. At least one of the poster authors is
expected to be present adjacent to their posters to answer questions. Refreshments will be served
during the Happy Hour and Poster Presentation.
Conference Name Badges
All delegates, including presenters will be provided with a name badge, which must be worn at all
times within the conference venue, as it is required for access to all keynote sessions and workshops.
Your name badge also includes a unique number - make sure you are on time to sessions to be in the
draw to win some great prizes!

Conference Proceedings
At the conference you will receive the proceedings on CD when you register. The CD includes all full
papers submitted by oral and poster presenters. All papers were peer reviewed.
