Judges Comments:
Very diverse class of varieties, vintages and styles. A lot of simple and soft or sweet wines
overshadowed by others with depth and flavour. The usual overoaked or overextracted suspects
were in evidence.
The overall quality of the class shows how far the industry has come, by making wines of finesse
Judges Comments:
There appears to be some confusion as to style here. Some wines showing too much oak and
others too much tannin.
