KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Planning and managing existing products across the life cycle from strategic
planning to tactical activities
• Specifying market requirements for current and future products supported by ongoing
visits to customers and non-customers, and liaising with CRM manager to
ensure relevant market research as appropriate...
• Driving new products by ensuring understanding of market requirements, product
performance and positioning, in conjunction with Marketing Communications.
(New product Launches, POS, Promotions, Product Performance)
• Ensuring optimum performance of existing products through pricing, promotional
activity and stock level management. (TMS)
• Analysing potential product placement for the products, including artist liaison
where relevant.
• Maintaining Competitor and Price Database.
• Maintaining effective liaison with other key sections of the organisation,
especially Sales and Customer Service to ensure relevant sales support
materials and information transfer.
• Monitor and control Product Management Budgets.
REQUIREMENTS
• 2-3 years of marketing/product management experience in a consumer products
environment. (Brand Understanding)
• Knowledgeable in music technology / music Industry (preferred but not
essential).
• Computer Science/Engineering/Marketing/ or good ‘thinking ‘degree or work
experience in a related sector.
• Office based but this position requires travel to customer and non-customer sites
in UK and Ireland.
• Based in South Wales
