sound. Proper Communic, Hanc igitur & Qui pridie. The Mandatum may take
place after the Gospel. At Agnus Dei miserere nobis thrice.
Benedicamus Domino at end. No Blessing. No Last Gospel.
Procession to Altar of Repose. Stripping of the Altars (V stole)

Pl Ind The Solemn Liturgical Action is celebrated in the afternoon at about 3.00 pm.
Passion according to S John 18, 1-40; 19, 1-42. Adoration of the Cross (B)
Communion (V).
Sat 11 HOLY SATURDAY 1 Cl V & W
Pl Ind At night Solemn Vigil. Blessing of New Fire, Paschal Candle and Font (V)
Renewal of Baptismal Vows (W). First Mass of Easter (W).
No Preparatory Prayers. At Gl bells and organ sound.
No Cr Pr of Easter (in hac potissimum nocte).
Proper Communic & Hanc igitur. After Communion Lauds.
Ite, Missa est, alleluia, alleluia. No Last Gospel.
PASCHALTIDE Tempus Paschale: Paschatis
The Paschal Candle is lit for Mass until the Ascension. Gl is said at Mass on Ferias, but
not 4 Cl Votive Masses except those of the BVM on Saturdays and of the Angels.
At the sprinkling with Holy Water before principal Mass Vidi aquam replaces Asperges me
until Trinity Sunday.
