Letter from the Dean of Students, St. George’s University
On behalf of the Office of the Dean of Students, I wish to congratulate you on your acceptance to the
St. George’s University Keith B. Taylor Global Scholars Program. As a medical student pursuing advanced educational,
research, and professional opportunities, we are here to facilitate your transition to campus life.
As part of welcoming all new students, Northumbria University and St. George’s University have organized an
extensive orientation program. A formal reception on campus is arranged for all students; for students arriving by air,
this includes reception and transportation to the campus from the airport. I encourage all students to participate in
walking tours of the campus, familiarizing yourself with the many opportunities provided to you.
We encourage you to not only work hard, but make time to socialize and play. A balance of all three will help ensure
your academic and professional success as well as providing a pleasurable and rewarding campus experience.
