ANTHONY CALLEA (Johnny Casino)<br />
Anthony Callea is undoubtedly one of Australia’s finest vocalists and performers. The Aria<br />
Award winner has forged a highly successful music career and undeniably has one of this<br />
country’s most powerful, passionate and pure voices.<br />
His debut single The Prayer became Australia’s fastest and highest selling single of all time<br />
with sales in excess of 4 x platinum and was at <strong>the</strong> top of <strong>the</strong> charts for an amazing five<br />
weeks.<br />
Anthony followed his debut single with ano<strong>the</strong>r multi-platinum number 1 single, Rain/<br />
Bridge Over Troubled Water and a self-titled multi-platinum number 1 selling album. Ano<strong>the</strong>r two top 10 hits came<br />
off this debut album with Hurts so Bad and Per Sempre. His sophomore album A New Chapter was accredited Gold<br />
and featured two top 20 singles with Live for Love and Addicted To You. Anthony also <strong>release</strong>d a Live Concert DVD<br />
which debuted at No 3 on <strong>the</strong> Aria DVD Charts, sold Platinum and later screened as a television music special on<br />
Foxtel.<br />
Along with headlining his own national tours, Anthony has toured with Celine Dion, Diana Ross, Whitney Houston,<br />
Mariah Carey and was hand picked to perform for Luciano Pavarotti, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and <strong>the</strong> Duke<br />
of Edinburgh, Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark. He has also starred in musical productions such<br />
as Wicked, Dead Man Walking and Rent. In late 2012, Anthony toured and performed with Tina Arena and <strong>the</strong><br />
Symphony Orchestras around <strong>the</strong> country and <strong>the</strong>n returned early 2013 for encore performances.<br />
In October 2011, Anthony <strong>release</strong>d a club track Oh Oh Oh Oh co-written with <strong>the</strong> Black Eye Peas’ DJ Poet. March<br />
2012, saw Anthony <strong>release</strong> Last To Go from <strong>the</strong> EP also titled Last To Go. Tracks from <strong>the</strong> EP were co-written with<br />
<strong>the</strong> likes of Paul Mac, Matt Morris and Jaakko Salovarra. Last To Go EP is out now on iTunes. Anthony has taken<br />
his dynamic vocals and energetic performance style to Los Angeles and Las Vegas where he performed to packed<br />
houses in West Hollywood and <strong>the</strong> famous Planet Hollywood on <strong>the</strong> Vegas strip.<br />
Anthony’s latest album titled THIRTY is out now through ABC/Universal Music. Celebrating his 30 th birthday in<br />
December 2012, Anthony re-discovers songs that have influenced him over <strong>the</strong> years, and in turn delivers his own<br />
musical stamp on <strong>the</strong>se stunningly written tracks. THIRTY includes both covers and original compositions penned<br />
by Anthony, and celebrates thirty years of <strong>the</strong> most beauti<strong>full</strong>y written music.<br />
STEPHEN MAHY (Kenicke)<br />
Stephen Mahy is a fine young actor who trained at <strong>the</strong> prestigious Western Academy of<br />
Performing Arts (WAAPA). Upon graduation, Stephen was cast in <strong>the</strong> Australasian tour of<br />
Miss Saigon, which toured around <strong>the</strong> country to great reviews as did his on-screen guest<br />
appearance in Sou<strong>the</strong>rn Star’s Out of <strong>the</strong> Blue.<br />
2008 saw Stephen take <strong>the</strong> key role of Laurie Laurence in Kookaburra Theatre Company’s<br />
production of Little Women, followed by a great role in a new production called Karaoke -<br />
The Musical. The demand for Stephen intensified leading to him being cast as one of <strong>the</strong><br />
Four Season’s crooners, Bob Gaudio, in Jersey Boys for <strong>the</strong> Australian sell out tour.<br />
You may also recognise Stephen as finalist on Channel’s Ten’s I Will Survive TV show or from his guest starring role<br />
on Mr and Mrs Murder as Dave Foote. Most recently Stephen has delighted packed houses in his role as Mr Hugh<br />
Hanson in SPANK! The 50 Shades Parody.
