LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION. “LIGHTS OUT” PERFORMANCE.
High country demands high standards, that’s why we’ve built the phenomenally light Model 700 Titanium. Weighing only
5 1 ⁄2 pounds long action, 5 1 ⁄4 pounds short action, and 6 3 ⁄8 pounds magnum – it’s the ultimate rifle for high-altitude spot and
stalk hunting. The key to its feathery feel starts with a titanium receiver that’s impervious to weather (drilled and tapped for
mounts). Titanium delivers incredible strength, but at a lighter weight than steel. Complementing the receiver is a bolt
featuring spiral-cut flutes and a skeleton handle – both of which further reduce the overall weight. Finally, the stainless-steel
barrel features a trim mountain-style contour (non-magnum calibers only) and is fitted in an ultra-lightweight,
carbon-fiber composite stock reinforced with aramid fibers and fitted with sling swivel studs.
For wilderness or high country pack-in hunts that involve rigorous hiking, we make
the appropriately named Model 700 Mountain Rifles. Extremely lightweight, they
feature trim stocks and tapered barrels to deliver fast, carbine-like handling with
full-bore range and accuracy.
LEGENDARY ACCURACY, REMARKABLE VALUE.
Much like the Model 700, the Model 710 possesses exceptional out-of-the-box accuracy, time-honored reliability,
crisp, single-stage trigger design, ultra-fast lock time, and the famous “three-rings-of-steel” for superior action
strength. But while much of the Model 710’s base design is owed to its heritage, its real story starts with
advancements made possible through the latest technology. Built in America’s newest firearms
plant – through state-of-the-art manufacturing systems – the Model 710 breaks
new ground for firearms engineering and production. Principle among its
many remarkable features is its innovative rugged barrel lock-up design and,
all-new for 2005, a solid steel receiver for easier bolt operation. A shorter,
60-degree bolt throw allows for faster follow-up shots. Beyond the superior
mechanics, the Model 710 features a uniquely textured gray synthetic stock with cheekpiece.
The Remington ® Model 710 is more than a remarkable value, it’s truly a remarkable gun.
