Denmark to stimulate interest in coins<br />
and increase awareness of the coins<br />
we use.<br />
20-krone Tower coins<br />
The 10th and final 20-krone coin in<br />
the tower series – with the Copenhagen<br />
City Hall Tower as its motif – was<br />
issued in June 2007.<br />
The series was replaced by the ship<br />
series.<br />
10-krone Fairy Tale coins<br />
The first 10-krone series, comprising<br />
5 coins, was inspired by Hans Christian<br />
Andersen’s Fairy Tales. The issue of<br />
the Nightingale coin in October 2007<br />
marked the completion of the series.<br />
The Fairy Tale coins were replaced by<br />
a Polar series to mark the International<br />
Polar Year (IPY) 2007-09.<br />
Tower <strong>Coin</strong> Set<br />
All 10 coins in the Tower Set have been minted<br />
in an extra fine collector’s quality, which means<br />
that the coins are uncirculated and are minted<br />
with two strokes.<br />
The Tower <strong>Coin</strong> Set was issued on<br />
20 June 2007. Edition: 8,600 sets.<br />

Fairy Tale <strong>Coin</strong> Set<br />
The Fairy Tale Set is an attractive coin set comprising<br />
all five Fairy Tale coins and a special medal<br />
with a portrait of Hans Christian Andersen.<br />

25 October 2007. Edition: 6,675 sets.<br />
