Lower School
On Friday 22nd June, Year Three and Four caught the train to Kerkrade in order to visit the
Continuum Science Museum. The pupils experienced all the interactive activities and in the
afternoon took part in a `Rockets` workshop. The pupils had a fantastic day, although they
were very tired by the end of it! Kristina said that she found the day particularly interesting
and couldn’t believe how high the rockets flew into the sky.
Year 4 have been very busy with castles this term. As part of our history topic on Medieval times
we took to the playground to create a giant drawing of a castle. We split into pairs and each pair
selected a part of the castle to draw. For example one pair drew the moat, one did the drawbridge
and front tower etc. In the end it all came together to create a wonderful Year 4 castle!
