City Library, “kirjasto” – here you may read newspapers in many languages, use computers with internet
access, borrow books, language cd:s and plenty of different kind of music recordings and sheet music. All
that is free of charge, if you return the items on time.
Affordable evening courses in a variety of fun and interesting subjects – the time for enrolment starts in
August and in November/January. The courses are in Finnish, but even with a minor Finnish knowledge you
may practise e.g. wood work, music, sports, and – of course – Finnish language courses. (1.Oulu-opisto,
