JAL JHILANI CELEBRATION,<br />
11 September <strong>2008</strong>, Ahmedabad<br />
After 23 years, the Jal Jhilani Ekadashi was celebrated in<br />
Swamishri’s presence at the BAPS <strong>Swaminarayan</strong> mandir in<br />
Ahmedabad. A giant, water pool was set up in the large auditorium.<br />
Swamishri presided over the concluding rituals of<br />
the Vedic mahapuja ceremony and performed arti. Then during<br />
Swamishri’s morning puja bhajans relating to Bhagwan<br />
<strong>Swaminarayan</strong>’s divine incidents in water were sung, and the<br />
traditional five artis were offered to Thakorji after sailing him<br />
in a remote-controlled fish-shaped boat. Finally, Swamishri<br />
blessed the thousands of devotees who attended.<br />
