The Ballantynes Fashion in the
Field event is hosted and compared
by Angela Stone.
Angela Stone is a prominent New
Zealand fashion stylist, coordinator,
and consultant. Her experience and
expertise as a fashion coordinator
has led to the development of many
successful race day fashion events.
As the fashion coordinator of the
Riccarton Races, Angela Stone has
produced fashion competitions,
fashion events, and amazing fashion
focused entertainment that has
caught the eye of New Zealanders
country-wide.

Ladies finalists will compete today for the following prize
sections with the Overall Winner receiving a trip for two
flying Air New Zealand to Shanghai staying five nights with
Millennium Hotels and Resorts. Our winner will also represent
the region at Ellerslie in the National final on March 2nd 2013
where a prize pool exceeding $100,000 awaits. Her prize
also includes flights to Auckland for two with three nights
accommodation.

“Angel” Young Designer Award (designers under 35years)
Mens finalists will compete for the following prizes:
The overall winner will receive Air New Zealand flights for two
to Brisbane staying seven wonderful nights at the Peninsular
Beachfront Resort in Mooloolaba on the glorious Sunshine
Coast.

Rachel Carpenter – representing Millennium Hotels and Resorts
Registrations on the day commence from 11am at the
registration desk next to the Birdcage Bar. Heats are scheduled
from 12noon with semi finals at the conclusion of each Heat.
The Final is held in the Birdcage after Race 5 at approximately
2.50pm.
