About the Department
The San Bernardino County Department of
Veterans Affairs employs professional
veterans’ advocates who help local veterans
and their families obtain benefits from federal,
state and local agencies.
Our department was created in 1926 and is the
oldest county veterans service agency in
California.
Since then, the Board of Supervisors has
continued to support our efforts on behalf
of San Bernardino County’s veterans from
all eras and their families.
How Do We Help You?
Our Veterans Service Representatives
are County employees thoroughly trained
and accredited by the U.S. Department of
Veterans Affairs. They work hard to
represent you and help you get the
maximum benefits to which you are
entitled. Your representative will work
