Companies operating in oil sector are faced
with complicated and rapidly changing
situations following the social change
occurred in the Middle East and North
Africa in 2011.
As Turkish Petroleum, we continue to
organize new partnerships, activities
and projects aiming long-term growth in
accordance with the vision and mission of
meeting the increasing energy demand of
our country.
In this context, signing oil services and
production share agreement with TRNC
covering 7 offshore and 1 onshore fields,
we continue on our way as leading player
of East Mediterranean Region. We also
signed joint operating agreements with Shell
in order to conduct both unconventional
studies in Southeastern Region of our
country and exploration and production
activities in Mediterranean. We participated
in Trans Anatolia Pipeline Project (TANAP)
that will enable to transport Azeri gas to
Europe through Turkey.
