These courses are interdisciplinary courses that are not attached to<br />
a specific department in <strong>Walton</strong> <strong>College</strong>.<br />
Enterprise Resource Planning Minor:<br />
The <strong>Walton</strong> <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers an interdisciplinary minor in Enterprise<br />
Resource Planning (ERP). ERP systems are large-scale programs,<br />
which are used by many large companies to integrate their business<br />
processes and run the organization using primarily one s<strong>of</strong>tware<br />
system. The minor requires completion <strong>of</strong> 15 hours <strong>of</strong> study with all<br />
<strong>of</strong> the courses applied toward the minor taken in residence. The 15<br />
hours include:<br />
WCOB 4213 ERP Fundamentals<br />
ISYS 4223 ERP Configuration and Implementation<br />
Plus nine hours from the following courses:<br />
ACCT 3013 Accounting View <strong>of</strong> Economic Events<br />
ACCT 3533 Accounting Technology<br />
ISYS 4233 ERP Development<br />
TLOG 3443 Principles <strong>of</strong> Transportation<br />
TLOG 3613 <strong>Business</strong> Logistics<br />
TLOG 3623 Purchasing and Inventory Systems<br />
Students who desire to earn an Enterprise Resource Planning<br />
minor must notify the <strong>Walton</strong> <strong>College</strong> Undergraduate Programs<br />
Office <strong>of</strong> intent to pursue a minor. All requirements for the minor<br />
must be completed prior to the awarding <strong>of</strong> the student’s undergraduate<br />
degree. All specific course prerequisites must be met.<br />
Financial Economics Minor:<br />
The <strong>Walton</strong> <strong>College</strong> <strong>of</strong>fers an interdisciplinary minor in Financial<br />
Economics. The minor will provide students with the background<br />
needed for research in finance and industry. The minor requires completion<br />
<strong>of</strong> 15 hours <strong>of</strong> study with all <strong>of</strong> the courses applied toward<br />
the minor taken in residence. The 15 hours include:<br />
FINN 3043 Principles <strong>of</strong> Finance<br />
ECON 4753 Forecasting (Applied Time Series)<br />
Plus nine hours from the following courses:<br />
FINN 3063 Investments<br />
FINN 3603 Corporate Finance<br />
ECON 3033 Money and Banking<br />
ECON 4743 Intro. to Econometrics<br />
Students who desire to earn a Financial Economics minor must<br />
notify the <strong>Walton</strong> <strong>College</strong> Undergraduate Programs Office <strong>of</strong> intent<br />
to pursue a minor. All requirements for the minor must be completed<br />
prior to the awarding <strong>of</strong> the student’s undergraduate degree. All specific<br />
